Luis MALUQUER TREPAT (1955). Founding Partner of the firm. I hold a degree in Law from the University of Barcelona and a degree in International Institutions from the University of Geneva. Managing Partner of the firm since 1995 until 2016, professor of taxation law for the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce in the 1980s, I was in charge of external legal advice in Barcelona for Banque Paribas, for the Caisse Nationale du Crédit Agricole and for the Société Genérale de Banque of Belgium. I have been a member of the Board and national correspondent for Spain in the AEDBF (European Society for Banking and Financial Law) since 2000 and am an advisor and secretary for several corporations. I have collaborated on several published works on the world of business law.

Married and the father of a daughter with an MBA in hospitality from Lausanne, I am an enthusiast of gastronomy and oenology and am also a good cook.  Chevalier of the Ordre des Coteaux de Champagne, I am cheerful and hyperactive--a passionate world traveller, an amateur photographer and an avid reader.
